A plain-language summary of how My Spiritual Circles handles your data, and the rights you hold over it under GDPR, CCPA and similar laws.
The minimum to run the platform: your name and email, the roles you switch on, the gatherings you book or save, the facilitators you follow, and messages you send on the platform. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
Your practice log, reflections, health notes, what you paid, and gatherings you only saved are never shown to anyone — not to facilitators, not to other members, not on any public page. A public seeker profile shows only what you explicitly switch on.
Only where it is needed to deliver something you asked for: a facilitator sees who has booked their gathering; Stripe processes payments; Supabase stores the database; Resend sends the emails you opted into. We do not sell your data, and we do not share who you practise with.
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and to understand broad usage. No advertising trackers.
You can view, correct, export, or delete your account and its data at any time from your account settings, or by writing to us. Deletion removes your profile, bookings history, saves, follows and practice log.
Financial records are kept for seven years where tax law requires it. Everything else is deleted with your account.
