About
Arun Kolagada is a yoga teacher from Mysore, India, and the founder of AND NOW YOGA. His teaching is rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga and draws, where it serves, from the Ashtanga Vinyasa method and Pranayama — the practice of the breath. At its heart is awareness: of the breath, of the fluctuations of the mind, and of the capacities and limitations of the body. Through that awareness we begin to see more clearly, move more consciously, and return to balance — a quiet alignment with life itself that the Yoga Sūtras call Yog. There is nothing to prepare or accomplish; you arrive as you are, and the practice meets you there.
Lineage & training
AND NOW YOGA takes its name from the opening words of Patañjali's Yoga Sūtras — Atha Yogānuśāsanam, often rendered "now begins the discipline of Yoga." Arun teaches in that spirit: yoga as something practised and directly experienced, not merely discussed. His work is grounded in traditional Hatha Yoga and draws, where it serves, on the Ashtanga Vinyasa method and Pranayama, the discipline of the breath. Alongside live group classes he offers one-to-one guidance and a five-session Establishing Foundations journey for building a steady personal practice.
