About this gathering
On August 12, 2026, the Moon passes before the Sun, creating a total solar eclipse whose path of totality crosses Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, Spain and a small corner of Portugal. In the language of Jyotish the Sun represents the organizing light of the Self—our vitality, clarity, authority and purpose—while the Moon represents the mind, our emotions, memories, attachments and instincts. When the Moon obscures the Sun, the accumulated contents of the mind temporarily cover the light of the Self, and what has been hidden or entangled may finally become visible. This eclipse occurs in Ashlesha Nakshatra, the domain of the serpent—the force that coils, binds, penetrates, protects, poisons, heals and transforms. Ashlesha reveals the invisible cords beneath visible life: emotional bonds that have become entanglements, family loyalties carried unconsciously, ancestral fears mistaken for personal truth, and attachments that once protected us but now imprison us. The gathering invites us to meet the hidden architecture of our attachments and reclaim the life-force trapped within them. During this 90-minute live online experience, Prakash guides a progression of Jyotish teaching, Kundalini Yoga for the pranic field, eclipse pranayama, mantra and meditation, a ritual of release, and integration. The gathering begins as totality unfolds somewhere on Earth, so participants sit together inside the living field of the event rather than simply discussing it afterward.

Jyotish provides the sacred context, but this is primarily an experiential gathering. We will move from understanding into embodied practice, meditation and integration.

No. The gathering is open worldwide. The spiritual practice does not depend upon being able to see the eclipse from your location.

Never look directly at the Sun without certified eclipse-viewing protection. Regular sunglasses are not sufficient. If you plan to observe the eclipse, follow the official safety guidance for your location.
What should I bring?
Bring a yoga mat or chair, meditation cushion, water, a journal and pen, and a shawl or blanket for meditation.
What if strong emotions arise?

This gathering is created primarily as a live eclipse experience. Any recording information will be communicated through the dedicated WhatsApp group.
Is this event connected to a particular religion?
No belief system is required. The gathering draws from the wisdom and practices of Kundalini Yoga and Vedic Jyotish while remaining open to sincere practitioners from every background.
