Common questions
Do I need previous Kundalini experience?
A steady daily practice of some kind helps, but committed beginners are welcome. The mornings are real work and the silence asks something of you.
How hot is Tulum in the season?
Warm and humid — high twenties into the thirties. Bring light layers, a shawl for the air-conditioned practice hall, and plenty of water.
Is the silence total?
From after evening kirtan until nine the next morning, yes — including at breakfast. It is the part people resist and then miss most.
