About this gathering
On August 27–28, 2026, the Earth's shadow moves across the Full Moon, creating an extraordinarily deep partial lunar eclipse in which roughly 96% of the Moon's visible surface will be obscured. In Jyotish the Moon represents the mind: our emotions, memories, habits, attachments and capacity to receive nourishment. When the Moon enters shadow, what has been suppressed may rise, what has been rationalized may become emotionally undeniable, and what has remained unnamed may finally ask to be acknowledged. This eclipse occurs in Aquarius, within Shatabhisha Nakshatra—the constellation associated with Varuna, Rahu, hidden truth, purification and the circle of a hundred healers. The gathering is offered as a threshold between recognition and healing, concealment and truth, isolation and sacred belonging. Following the August 12 Ashlesha solar eclipse that opened the Serpent Gate, the Shatabhisha lunar eclipse completes the passage—bringing revelation into the emotional body, the subconscious mind and the deeper chambers of memory, where insight must become practice. During this 90-minute live online experience, Prakash guides a held progression of Jyotish teaching, Kundalini Yoga, pranayama, mantra, meditation and integration. The practice takes place during the active partial phase of the eclipse, with the worldwide maximum falling inside the shared meditation, creating a conscious healing circle across countries, time zones and continents.

Common questions
Do I need experience with Kundalini Yoga?
No. The practices will be explained clearly, and you will be encouraged to work within the honest capacity of your body.
How will the ceremony be offered?
The gathering will be offered live online via Zoom. You can participate from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection and a device that supports Zoom.
Is this an astrology lecture?
Jyotish provides the sacred context, but this is primarily an experiential gathering. We will move from understanding into embodied practice, meditation and integration.
Must the eclipse be visible from my location?
No. The gathering is open worldwide. The eclipse will not be visible from India because the Moon will already be below the horizon, but physical visibility is not required for meditation or spiritual practice.
Is it safe to look at a lunar eclipse?
Yes. Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse can be observed safely with the naked eye. Please remain aware of your physical environment if you go outside at night.
Do I need to keep my camera on?
You may keep your camera on or off according to your comfort and circumstances. Joining with your camera on can support the experience of a shared global gathering, but it is not required.
What should I bring?
Bring a yoga mat or chair, a meditation cushion, water, a journal and pen, and a shawl or blanket. You may also keep a candle or oil lamp and a bowl of fresh water nearby.
What if strong emotions arise?
You are always free to pause, rest, breathe normally or step away from a practice. The purpose is conscious witnessing, not emotional force or catharsis for its own sake.
Will the event be recorded?
Recording information will be communicated through the event's registration channel.
Is this gathering connected to a particular religion?
No particular belief system is required. The ceremony draws from Kundalini Yoga, Vedic Jyotish, mantra and meditation while remaining open to sincere practitioners from every background.
